Tactics first

Both Mikel Arteta and Arne Slot prepared their teams tactically very well. From the opening minute of the match it was obvious that it was going to be a game full of goals. The Gunners came into the game more active from the opening seconds, which resulted in the first accurate shot by Bukay Saku, who after a long pass from Benjamin White, raced alone at The Reds- keeper Kelleher.

However, the lead didn’t last long when Liverpool captain Virgil Van Dijk managed to get through after a corner kick.
However, it was 2-1 when Mikel Merino scored for the first time in an Arsenal jersey…

Second half for Liverpool

The second half was marked by Liverpool FC not letting Arsenal have a say. The key minute of the match was the injury of the home stopper – Gabriel. It was his replacement, Jakub Kiwior, who ran onto a high ball in the 81st minute, after which Darwin Nunez ran into the sixth and found the visiting Mohamed Salah with a precise ball. The Egyptian international then made the final 2-2.
