Erik ten Hag and his time at Manchester United

Erik ten Hag came to the red part of Manchester as the successful coach of Ajax Amsterdam. With Ajax, he managed to win the Eredivisie twice in a row (2018/2019 and 2020/2021). In June 2022, he left the Netherlands and joined The Red Devils ( Red Devils). He lasted only two years in the position.

Erik ten Haga’s tactics

Ten Hag brought a new system of play to Manchester United that was characterised by an emphasis on combinations, high attacking play and ball control. However, his tactics ran into problems, especially in the opening months of his tenure. The team struggled with results and fans began to question the Dutch coach.

Despite the initial difficulties, Ten Hag did not give up and gradually began to build a competitive team. He recruited several new players who fit into his system and improved the team’s performance. Under his leadership, Manchester United reached the finals of some domestic cups and scored several important victories in the Premier League.
