Manchester City is one of the best clubs in the world. Currently experiencing the longest and worst run of results under Spanish coach Pep Guardiola. It’s not usual to see Sky Blues players drop points in games of which they are slight favourites.
It all started in the Carabao Cup fourth round match with a loss at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. A match that was decided by two Tottenham goals in the space of 20 minutes. Although Pep Guardiola’s charges were in control of the match in terms of ball possession. The final score of 2-1 was set by visiting midfielder Matheus Nunes at the end of the first half.
First loss in the Premier League
