One of the long-term building blocks of Manchester City’s defence has asked the management to leave the club. Kyle Walker is one of the best central defenders of his time who would love to try a new challenge in a league other than the Premier League.
He has won everything he can with Pep Guardiola’s team and in recent games has come on as a substitute rather than a starting line-up player.
The departure of the English defender was also confirmed by coach Pep Guardiola :
“He wants to leave. Now it depends on the market and the agreement between all parties. He’s a first-class player!”.
The biggest interest is reported by Ac Milan, which is negotiating with the player himself about the terms of the contract. However, Milan are not the only team interested in the 34-year-old.
