This year’s Aston Villa and Premier League star unexpectedly on his way out. We are talking about 20 year old Colombian international Jhon Durán, who is leaving the British Isles suddenly. He becomes Cristiano Ronaldo’s new teammate. The Birmingham City club had no intention of selling Durán in this transfer window. Despite all the circumstances, Aston Villa’s management considered several offers until they finally accepted an offer from Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr in the amount of €77 million.
However, the Colombian striker was not the first choice for the Saudi club, it was Viktor Boniface from Bayer Leverkusen. That transfer ultimately fell through, and so Al Nassr’s management set their sights on the Premier League star.
