North London derby decided by a goal from a standard situation

North London’s biggest derby has a winner. The game was decided by a single goal from a standard situation, scored by Brazilian stopper Gabriel Magalhães. At the end of the 4th round of the Premier League we were waiting for a showdown between the home team Tottenham Hotspurs and the visiting Arsenal London. The favourites of the match were Mikel Arteta’s charges, who entered the match with a shortened line-up.

According to the stats, Tottenham had a slight advantage. However, after a mistake by one of the home team’s players, the winning goal fell. An even match full of chances on both sides was finally decided by the mistake of Cristian Romero, who did not catch the movement of Gabriel during Arsenal’s corner kick. The Arsenal stopper himself, facing goalkeeper Vicario, did not hesitate.

After the fourth round of the Premier League, Manchester City continue to lead the league with twelve points, closely followed by Arsenal and Liverpool. Newcastle United round out the top four. Next round we can look forward to a duel between the first and second team.
